- More About Me -

I really want to live for God, and always want Him to shine through in all that I do, including paintball. It's my sincere desire that He be seen through me in everything, especially while on the field. I know I falter and mess up, but that's because I'm a sinful human, we all are and all mess up.

The point of Christianity isn't that we can never be perfect, or hope to be, but that Christ is our mediator and that through Him God is faithful to forgive our sins. It's Christ in me which enables me to overcome weaknesses, and it's His sacrifice which wipes me clean of all my sins before God!

- Occupation -

I'm a Senior Analyst with various duties encompassing the roles of Management of Information Systems, Consultant, Metrics, Developer, Technical Writer & Business Project Manager.

In other words, I do a lot of junk using a lot of skill sets and it's all rolled up into one thing called a "job" and I get paid for it

- Goals -

Number one is to glorify God, and never fail to have fun. I'd like to continue to add to my various paintball experiences through various roles, on and off the field, as a player or part of the support staff.

Continue improving my skill sets. Take on new roles and challenges within the sport. Also, to make sure I represent myself and team in a friendly, professional manner

- Hobbies -

Paintball, Firearms, Politics, Custom Cars & Modifications (mostly exotic, rare or purpose-built), Motorcycles, Computers, Travelling, Tinkering & Engineering things -- typical expensive guy hobbies.

Also I love learning about anything and everything, and am constantly studying, researching or otherwise furthering myself

- Thoughts Prior to the Game -

First and foremost, to glorify God. Also, to have fun! If we're not having fun, then why are we out there? I want to se everyone having fun.

Additionally, making sure that I'm fully prepared for an event and that I'm one of the first ones on the field. Also, making sure my squad and other players are prepared and on the field. Lastly, just having my head in the game so I can best support the objectives

- Equipment -

  • Primary: SOVANATOR - Custom Launcher
  • Primary: DM-4 - Orange Bolt, Gucci Anodized body
  • Backup: AR-1 - Virtue Board, Upgraded wiring & hoses, Blackened body
  • Barrels: Stiffi brand (14"-16")
  • Hopper: Evolution 3 Hopper w/Z-board
  • Other: Cobra radio, Ixcessory Neck Mike, Original Swat Safety Tactical Boots, V-Force Mask, Under Armor HeatGear Skins

  • - Experience -

Consecutive since 2007, Sporadically since 1999

    - Best thing about Paintball -

Paintball, unlike many sports has a genuine camradarie amongst players regardless of which team or side you play. Often times the person you were taking shots at one game, will be by your side the next. It's about being honorable and the respect on and off the field, without which you can't have an enjoyable time.

I love the game stories shared by all, during or after a game. More often than not, on field you may be shooting at each-other, but off-field you're a big group of friends, pretty much a large family playing the same sport. So no matter what, I almost always have fun win or lose.

One thing's for sure about paintballers, we're crazy. Everyone says that about their own sport, but we're just a whole different degree of crazy! In a good safe way.

And when you can hangout after the game around a campfire with people from all sides and have a great time, what could be better? I'm out to have fun, improve my gameplay and just cut loose for some goofy times

    - Memorable Moments -

Every event spawns new memories! Most recently, my first MVP award as I'd never had one, during "Dracula vs Frankenstein". I was definitely wore-out, beat-up, sore and wanting more! Also when SoVa attended "Road to No Ends" in Myrtle Beach, that was a fabulous time!

    - Best Paintball Memory -

I honestly have so many, they're hard to choose from, and new ones occur all the time. Any event I have fun with everyone, and I do my best, is always going to be a great moment for me

    - Worst Paintball Memory -

I was given a mission to get on a helicopter and fly over to the enemy CP and blow it. Seemed easy enough, and the opposing forces were spread thin. As we made our way toward their CP, we noticed their entire team began following our heli. We made it to the CP, almost totally surrounded by the enemy.

We knew we only had 1 chance. As soon as we had the signal, we dropped off and I immediately fired at the CP about 50' away. As soon as the rocket left the launcher, a fin broke off and it spun just shy of the CP! On top of that, we all got mowed down by the opposing team. Fairly emberassing, but hilarious fun
